SHOO FLY Cover WICKER WOODEN Serving Tray

PICNIC WICKER SHOO FLY COVER AND WOODEN SERVING TRAY VINTAGE

  • Unusual picnic food covering
  • Dome lid is made of wicker in natural light stain, 7″ high
  • Lid has hammered brass strip woven through across width and length, ending in a brass lifting ring
  • Hammered brass trim around base of dome is embossed with a symbol all the way around, this symbol is either a DEER STAG OR BULL, hard to tell which.
  • Uncertain as to the age of this shoo fly cover, but have been unable to find another like it.
  • Matching wooden tray is 23″ long x 15″ wide
  • It is dusty, and a few dings here and there, but an UNUSUAL PIECE.
  • The wicker dome has 2 small broken wicker pieces that I can see.  The tray has a knick on one side, and some dribbles of a wax like substance on one end
